Our newest addition to our family!: Maddy our Italian Mastiff pitt mix

Hello! My name is Roxanne McCredie.. Here is a little bit about me and how I became a dog trainer.

I went to college at Oregon State University receiving my Bachelors in Fishery and Wildlife. During and soon after, I worked with all types of animals such as mice, birds, fish, amphibians, etc. in mark and recapture studies.  After college I also married my husband, Matt, and moved to Aloha, Oregon.  After our move we welcomed our fun and crazy son. Once I had my son, I decided that I really wanted to be a stay at home mom.  As my boy got older, I wanted to find something that I loved, be able to help out with the family income, and still be a stay at home mom.  I decided, with the help of my father, that I wanted to go to school for my dog training and vet assistant certificates. I completed this through the Animal Behavior College and performed my dog training externship at the Oregon Humane Society (I can tell you it was hard to not bring every dog home with me).  My experience at the humane society was amazing and very rewarding.  I am so grateful for that opportunity and hope to volunteer again at a humane society when I get some more free time.  When I was done getting both my dog training and vet assistant certificate, I found my way to BarkZone doggy daycare and boarding facility where I have been training ever since. I will be testing soon for my CPDT.  This is the best dog training certificate you can get.  You need a certain number of hours teaching classes before you can test and I am almost there.  I am super excited to further my certification.

I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I teach many classes from group basic, one on one, in-home lessons to exercise with your dog classes.

I hope that I will be able to you have the best relationships you can have with your dogs.
